Looking for '37 T-plane headlight mounts
-
Anyone have any headlight mounts or know where I should start asking?
The grille and light assembly that was still attached to the '37 I bought a couple of months ago has to go back (was originally not part of the deal, but the grille buyer had never claimed it.......until now). I already have another grille and some better light buckets, but I still need the mounts.
The ornament on the new grille is of course long gone, too, but I'm pretty sure I know where that query will end up.
I need a few other parts too, but they're a much much lower priority... -
Well, the first person I'd try (or maybe you already have?) is Robbie Williams, 'Mister '37' (so to speak). He's in the Club roster. He's parted out more '37's than the factory probably ever made. I've seen these mounts innumerable times at Hudson flea markets. Who ever wanted them? (Now I know!)
If you are speaking of the 'flying carrot' or red zeppelin hood ornament, I believe K-Gap offers all or part of it. -

I also got a PM from Patrick saying he had some...
