51 model 200 Questions
-
I put my recent purchas into the Body Shop Refinish Program at the local trade school-51 model 200 fodo sedan. We have taken it down completely -engine out 100% stripped etc.
Can anyone advise me on these q's: Where can you get a carb rebuild kit -Carter 784, full set of body to frame bushings, set of headers and intake like Jack Clifford's son-in-law makes for 308 Hornets ??. Got to keep the 288 for posterity!!! Oh, can the front end be lowered by taking the king pin assembly off and turning it upside-down w/o upsetting the caster ?? Or will she become "bo-legged" ?

You can download the entire service manual for your car at
www.packardinfo.com
Also there you will find the Service Technical Bulletins (STBs) and the owners manual. All of it is for free download. These resources may answer most of the questions you have and are a valuable resource for any Packard owner to have.
Thanks,
-Kev
