Narrow 232 Head
-
Does anyone know of anyone that might have a narrow-block 232 cast iron head that might be for sale. It just needs to be salvageable, (no cracks or excessive shaving done)
Thanks,
Doug -
Any 48 To 50 6 Cyl Head Will Work On The First 232. They Generally Had 500 Stamped On Them The 232 Stamp Came In 51. Bill Albright. Have Several If You Cant Find One Locally

The reason I'm looking for one is to install it on my '49 262 motor, and raise the compression slightly.
So I guess my choice ('50 Pacemaker head) would have to have the 500 stamp, because if the 232 stamp came out in '51, that was now the 'wide' block, wasn't it?
