Newbee, looking for headers....
-
for a 56 chevrolet truck that I removed the straight 6 from and converted to 350. The headers that I have touch the steering box. Anybody have any brand and model numbers to fit this application?
I also have factory suspension, brakes, rearend, 4 speed hydramatic tranny, and many other parts from the truck.
Thanks -
i would get some block hugger shorty headers. they tuck closer to the block than regular shorty headers. dynomax, flowtech(a dept. of dynomax), hedman, hooker, pace setter, and patriot are some of the popular companies that carry block hugger shorty headers. you can look online at jegs, summit racing, and even ebay. although ebay prolly won't have brand names on the headers.

I am also looking to buy a pair of headers for my ford 390. I have found some online for pretty steep prices and I was wondering if anybody had a pair slightly used that they would want to sell or if anyone knew of a great deal on a new set. Thanks
