IMHO, the 1948 Hudsons shocked the automotive world with their 'stepdown' design... For years the Mecury folks have been chopping their cars, to get them to look like a Hudson did and does stock. Until the movie 'Cars' came out, every time someone saw a Hudson, it was "Hey, thats a nice looking chopped Merc..."

Your listing of cars to choose from is very narrow and limiting, probably due to individual taste. There have been a lot of cars that made the automotive world take note of due to their styling queues, but only a there are only couple are in your list that I would consider, and at least one in the list is much too generic - 60's Mopars (?)...

I'm for the Mopars, but you have to start with '57, or even '55. And drop that "classic" terminology. You really mean "collector cars." Yeah, a lot of these are classics in the "lower case c" sense, but the term is over used to mean anything that's considered an old car. And to ask for a pick of best styling, you really have to do it by era. What we call the classics of the fifties or sixties are a whole different thing than the "true classic" Duesenbergs, Auburns, Packards, etc., of the twenties and thirties.
