This one sure looks familiar. Wasn't this on ebay in the last month or so, with comments from the board?

If this is an all original car, why is the engine red and not gold? Aircleaners black and not red? Am I missing something? Just curious.

Guess the seller is confused as to originality or he likes spinning a yarn. Still wondering why it hasn't sold yet?

Maybe $19,500 is too much for this car, is the reason it's still for sale.

    Nick,

Now I see the manifold (internal cross over tube) but how does one tell if it is a Hash block (besides serial number)? I'd like to upgrade my Hudson knowlege!

the serial number is the key, it is moved on the hash blocks, on the stepdown sixes it is vertical in front of the manifolds, if you look on the left side of the block between the 2nd and 3rd headbolts on this engine, you will see a boss added to the hash block for the serial number.

for what its worth, as another note, the fuel line running to the rear carb is also indicative of kenosha production. of course lines could be rerouted at any time at and doesn't necessarly mean much here.

I contacted the dealership. They replied that the car sold months ago.
