Valve cover gaskets

    Did you see some outfit called USAParts trying to sell a nice set of valve cover gaskets for '48-54 Hudson on eBay? Do any of those guys understand why we're so reluctant to buy stuff there?

    Am i missing something here? i don't see anything in the ad the seams odd? look to be cork valve cover gaskets sold by the pair and look to be the right proportion for the stepdown sixes?

    look like Hudson valve cover gaskets to me also.

    I have to go with nick s - I don't see a problem, the guy has been a ebay member since 1999 - 99.9% rating with no bad marks in the last 12 months...seems like if you could get it for 20.00 thats probably worth any risk in shipping - unless its easier to make new ones by hand...
