Hey gang,
I am in the process of converting my 54 Special to 12v using Park's instructions. I am almost there but I have one problem. Park calls for an IR2 voltogar regulator for the gauges to replace the factory unit. This part has been discontinued. I have conversed with Park on it via e-mail and since he is in the process of moving he is not in the position to research the issue for a replacement. Has anyone here been across this or has done this conversion using something other than the IR2? This is about the last part of the conversion I need and I am ready to go. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
