Hudson Meet at Russ Maas in Heyworth, Ill.
-
A combined Hudson meet with Chi-Mil & Gateway Chapters will be Sunday at Russ & Lisa Maas in Heyworth, Ill. starting around 10 AM. Heyworth is 10 miles So. of Bloomington, Ill. and just 10 miles east of interstate 55 on Rt. 136. Easy to find. Even if you are not a member of the above chapters please come. Would like to see a few of the folks from Indiana to come over to. Bring parts to sell, lawn chairs, etc. Lunch around noon or so. I will demonstrate how to degree a camshaft on a hudson motor if there is interest.

No, the cam does not have to be reground. Correction can be made with either the cam gear or the crank gear. The timing sets I have for sale have 3 keyways in the crank gear--0 degree--+4 degree and -4 degree. Crank gears are available in 2 degree increments. Another way is to attach the cam gear to the cam--drill through the cam gear and the cam and install a pin. Offset bushing are available in1-7 degree increments. Still time to catch a plane and notebook .
