Six to 318 swap
-
Friend has a '61 Dart with slant six. What's involved in swapping to a 318?
-
The 318 won't work on the K member without either canging it or getting a kit other things would be wiring and throttle linkage .
-
You also need to consider if the suspension will support the engine you want to install. Will the brakes be as effective. Will the cooling system be sufficient?
A lot to weight out but it may be worth it if it's what you really want.
