New found respect from a cartoon
-
Check this out from the Chicago Sun Times.

Doc will just boost up our resale, but not to each other I hope???

WELL, I certainly have respect for the author of that article. Do you realize how unusual it is for the media to get the facts correct when they publish an article? And an article about an automotive product without mentioning the dreaded SUV.

Great article, thanks for posting it. Like I said, this is a home run for Hudson. -
Ha! Take that, everyone else but us!1953 Hornet sedan Twin-H
Custom front springs, drop-blocks out back, Clifford 6-2 headers exiting out back shotgun style, Pertronix, and Flames!
1964 Chevy C-10 Longbed, 396/TH400 lowered just enough and \"easy to touch up\" Black paint.
2003 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
Caved in quarter and fender. Bad paint. Non-True-Trac heap. But it's paid for. -
A very good read... Loved it!

I saw the movie Friday night with the wife and #2 daughter. I'm a little embarassed but have to admit the tears started welling up when the 'history of Doc Hudson' was revealed. I didn't see this article but after 22 years 'around' the club, it's nice to finally see us get some recognition. Great article and my new favorite movie!

DAN JEDLICKA Auto Reporter for the Chicago Sun Times has reported on Hudsons and other orphans before. He came out to the Aurora, IL orphan car picknic and put out an article about orphans prominently featuring George Nells Hudson Hornet and Clarence Konecki's '33 Hudson

When I saw the movie I uuuuh got a lump in my throat yeah that's it! Guess this is a movie bound to have an emotional impact on gearheads

I wept openly at the movie. I was wearing my shirt I made out of an old Hudson seat cover and eating popcorn out of a Twin H aircleaner and drinking my pop out of a 308 piston I had made into a cup. I think I represented for the Hudson team. At the end of the movie I stood up and said that I was ready to answer any Hudson questions they had. I also handed out HET membership forms and said be the coolest kid on your block.www.hudsonmotorcar.org
