On Saturday, July 1, Claremore, Oklahoma will celebrate "Humbug Days", with weenie dog races, a street carnival, and a car show.

Most of the shops downtown will offer deep discounts, and there will be food vendors, as well as a couple of cafe's that that specialize in home-style cooking. And yes, there will be quite a few arts and crafts vendors, if last year's show is any indication.



Also, The American Patriot Guard Riders will be having a meeting at the Expo Center July 2-4. You know these riders as the guys who protect the families of our fallen soldiers, whose funerals are disrupted by thos morons from that "church" in Topeka.



And, naturally, there will be a fireworks display at Lake Claremore Park on July 4th.

So if you are in the area, or live close enough to make the trip, come on by!
