I'm having a local unofficial Chicago-Milwaukee Chapter HET meet on Saturday June 17th at the Cascade Drive-in in West Chicago IL to see CARS. I don't expect a lot of Hudsons to come but any car pre-1970 is welcome. I'm going to try and reserve the 3rd row of the drive in for classic cars. The drive-in is near the intersection of Route 59 and 64 (North Ave) Gates open at 7:00pm I might not have a Hudson unfortunately both mine need a bit of work but I will have a classic car there and anyone who needs more info can Email me. www.cascadedrivein.com

Headed to Haar's Drive-In in Dillsburg, PA (SE of Carlisle, PA) to see CARS this weekend as well in the 51 Hudson :-) Anyone else in the area want to join me and the family?

Displayed my green 51 Hornet four door with 2 other Hornets at the Harkins Bricktown Cinema at Oklahoma City, June 6th for a pre showing of the movie CARS along with about 550 other people, 70 foot screen, the Hudson peope had the privilege of sitting in the press section. Many of the people were winners of a radio station contest it seemed. Enjoyed the movie with my son and grandson and Doc Hudson is definitely in charge and star of the show. Being a Hudson owner for 60 + years, i think you will like it. The Hornets showed well sitting on the grass at entrance to the theater and lot of nice compliments , and tickets were free, thanks to our Dust Bowl editor arrangements. Melvin

Interesting. Your the first person I know that has actually seen it. I'm glad you gave it a Hudson thumbs up with all the hype that is outthere.
