Power Steering for 51 chevy
-
Am considering trying to convert the manual steering in my 51 sedan to power steering. Considering a camero steering box and tilt column. can anyone see any reason that this should not work. any input would be very helpful

I have a 1950 Chevy Fleetline, and have the stock steering. Most of the ones I have seen are doing the front clip thing, where you convert everything to later model stuff or do the Mustang II set-up. Chevy came out in '54 with PS and I think all that will work on the '51, with some mods. I'm not that knowlegable on front end stuff, so, good luck with yours and keep us posted as to your progress.

There's no problem using camero p/s, you can buy the mounting brackets from
Chassis Engineering.
