1922 Steward

I have the chance to buy a 1922 Steward. Does anyone have any information about this brand of car? I know they were only built in 1922 & 1923

I believe the name was STEWART. They were made in Buffalo,N.Y. The exact date of their manufacture is not clear but they were gone by 1929. Bought out I believe. Not yet a victum of the Great Depression. BTW there was also a Roamer automobile.You need to get in touch with the historic truck collectors association. Good luck with your find.

Correction I think they were gone by 1939 not 1929 as earlier stated.
