1951 Ford Training kit

    Hi there,

A friend gave me something that I think is very valuable but I have no idea of what to do to find out what it would be worth... or who to contact to sell it.

It's a Ford Service Training Case containing 18 huge vinyl records, 4 smaller vinyl records, 21 cans (size of cans are 1 & 1/2 in. high & wide to 1 & 1/2 in. high & 2 in. wide) of films varying in length from approx. 40 in. to 76 in. long and almost 1 & 1/2 in. wide, a film projector and a new 7 &1/8 in., 2 ply roll of (blue) register carbon paper. The records are 15 & 3/4 in. across!!! They were made by Columbia Records... playing speed is 33 & 1/3 rpm. They are in new condition, still in their paper dust covers, the title of this one I'm looking at is: ' 1951 Ford Service Forum number 11... introduction to 1952 engines' produced by Wilding Picture Productions INC. Chicago, Illinois. I have the entire 12 records of the series, plus 4 other large records having to do with methods of attracting & selling to customers. The smaller (12 in. across) records have to do with Ford Truck Facts and other selling lessons. The case has quite a bit of wear & tear and slight ripping around the top edges around the handle due to the case being so heavy... 35 lbs.! Oh, the case is med. blue.

Can anyone help me or tell me where to search for a collector/buyer? Thank you!!!!!!

    God Bless & Best Regards,

lol good luck. I recommend contacting or e-mailing Ford Motor company directly and explain what you have and there est value. I'm thinking a true ford fan might want that. Its prob worth alot.... I have never heard of anything like that. If you still have it I'll contact a buddy of mine and see if he can find out something about it. I'll let ya know

Hi, I know that it was a long time ago, but you still have the training kit?
    Thanks, Alexandre.

Hi Alexandre. I have about 100 complete kits and at least 1000 vinyl instructional records.
