Need Help Selecting Wheels For 60' Bel Air

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with selecting some wheels for my 60' bel air two door. im looking at some 17X8 cokers for the rear of the car and maybe 16X7's or 16X6's up front but the problem is i dont now how wide i can go in the rear because i have the factory exhaust underneath wich runs right next to the wheel well. so i was wondering how wide i could go with out rubing on the exhaust and with out rubbing the tire on the fender. thanks for your help
