Hi, what was your first car??
Mine was a 1947 Chevrolet coupe - tu toned blue, old 6 cyliner engine.
I got it in 1956,2nd hand from my Ag Teacher,I was a Senior in high school.
One of the first things I bought was a steering wheel knob for it,of course the fuzzy dice for the mirror too.
I found a pair of single bar "Flipper" hub-caps for the front wheels.
As a budding "HOT-RODDER" I thought it was cool.

1979 chevy Malibu, 2 door sports coupe, v6, either a 3.2 or 3.3, don't recall. Metallic caramel brown. Got it in October of '05, first thing I bought for it was a steering wheel cover since it was so darn sticky. ick! Then I bought an air filter for it along with some new tail light bulbs xD Been outta high school for over a year now.
and for the random bit of record, I named her "Iron Maiden" -
1952 Plymouth Cranbrook 4-dr sedan. Paid ten dollars for it in 1972, running, driving, and all!"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
1953 Chevy 210 Wagon w/ a 283 and 3pd manual when I was 13y.o.! Paid $150 dollars for it. Owned it, then a 63 Pontiac 2 door sedan, then a 1957 Ford 1/2 ton p/u.....all before I had a drivers license. I would work on them and turn around and sell them. First car after obtaining a drivers license......1956 Nash Metropolitan Convertible!

Mine was also a 47 Chev, a black two door, mydad found it in chicken house, was as dirty as any car I have ever seen, didnt want it , wanted a Ford, Dad knew best. Paid $100 in 1956, it was 9 years old. Drove the hell out of it and sold it to friend after one year for $75. I had skirts and a split manifold, running straights. I had white walls, hard to get used back then. They always said the old babbet bushing six would not take rough treatment, but it out out lasted us kids for a couple of years.
