Model A Factory Tour Pics
-
Hi All,
...I thought some might Enjoy These Pics (Link Below) And Brief Story About The The Model A...
But First, ... To Set the Scene...... A Little History About the Birth of The Model A..
As many already know, Henry was very set in his way in the late 1920's
But Clara and Son Edsel, Would Change all that...
...They threatened to sell their Family Owned Ford Motor Company $tock$ which meant that the majority of company stock would Then Cease to Be Held By Ford,
As It It would Then Be Held by the public and Henry Ford Would Loose Total Control Of Ford Motor Company (*for the second time).
A fate That I'm Sure Henry Would Have Thought was worse than two burned out light bulbs with only one last exhaust note.
.........The Model A Was Henry Fords Last Car That He Could Claim As His Own,
It Was Pretty Well All His 'New' Design,
A design that never would have come about if it weren't for the Very Forceful Hand that Clara And Edsel Held.
Below is The Temporary Link To A Factory Tour Of The Newport Beach California Assembly Plant in 1931....
((Note - I'm a Huge Fan of Model A's (Except for the second tuesday of the month 'cause that's the night the guys in the Studebaker club meet) )) (Also, please Note, this link isn't quite finished yet as the album hasn't been organized or Properly labeled/ or Spelt checked etc , (in progress).
