stepdown convertible upholstrey

Were the door panels originally leather as were the seats. If not was anything else vinyl? Any ideas on a nice match for the maroon color out there that people like?
thanks -
Russ, My 49 Commodore had leather on the seats only. Akl the other was a leather like vinyl.

Russ, my '51 Hornet ragtop, the second one I've owned with all original upholstery, has leather only on the seats. Everything else is vinyl. I think I may have LeBaron Bonney's red leather color here somewhere, as I had to have the front seat recovered about three years ago, and have material from the same lot on reserve, to do the rear seat when eventually needed. It's a good match to the original.

Thanks for the responses. Park do you have the item number that matches the hudson leather from LeBaron. Does anyone know how many hides it takes to do the seats only in a convert? What do prices genrally go for the material?
Thanks
