flathead upgrades.

can anyone tell me if the later flatheads up to 53 will bolt in to the earlier ford eng compartments without a lot of adapting and fabrication???

Most of the time with a bellhousing from a 49-52 ford truck and truck water pumps, the flatty will bolt in a 37-48 car. some oil pans can have a slight interferance at the tie rod and front crossmember.
