Modified '47 Hudson Pickup - on Ebay -

Seems like a well done pickup. Pretty sharp looking I think, though personally I'm not a "red" fan, buts its nice!

It looks like a very nice truck, but I'm not too thrilled with the red either. Same would go if it was black...jsrail wrote:Seems like a well done pickup. Pretty sharp looking I think, though personally I'm not a "red" fan, buts its nice!

I like the fact that he kept the grille, but would like to have seen a 'clean' chrome bumper on the front as well.
- The interior looks a bit stark, probably due to the modified dash.
- The steering column and wheel don 't quite 'fit', probably due to the color. - Looks like there is adequate room behind the wheel - the seat is probably all the way back.
- The wood console doesn't look like a 'fit' either.

The hood chrome has been kept, but was not kept for the doors - probably would have looked better to either 'drop' it completely, or follow through with it on the doors.
The gas fill has been moved to the center of the bed - a bit cleaner for the side of the truck, but I have never really liked gas filler openings in the bed.
The standard & unique wheel wells have been removed and the bed has been 'tubbed' for the large rear wheels - necessary since the rear fenders do not appear to have been widened or extensively modified.

Any guesses on what it will 'go for' or if it will meet it's reserve? -
I'll say $25,001"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..." -
Finished @ $24,100.00 - Reserve not met.
