Sorry to post this but somehow I will make this work.
http://classiccar.com/files/60001.jpg
hey! it really works.
This is whats going in my Hudson so I can have the real Hudson wheels. The rotors are Camaro that I took to my favorite machine shop and they redrilled the bolt pattern to Hudson specs.www.themodernartist.com -

And here it is - in the thread... -
OK, Now how did you do that to get it in the thread?www.themodernartist.com

Hi Chaz,mrsbojigger wrote:OK, Now how did you do that to get it in the thread?
- Opened your link, right-clicked on the picture, clicked-on "Copy";
- Went back to your 'thread', and clicked the 'quote' button (or "post reply");
- Clicked on the "Go Advanced" button;
- Right-clicked in the discussion area, and selected 'paste'...
Other ways to do it as well... You don't happen to have a "MAC", do you? :eek: -
Rick,
I've tried this before. Everything seems to work until the last command. When I right click in the message area the little box appears but "paste" is not one of the options. The only thing that shows in the little box that can be clicked on is "delete" and "select all".
As per your question, I have a PC not a Mac.www.themodernartist.com -
Sounds like you don't have "WYSIWYG" enabled in your forum options...mrsbojigger wrote:Rick,

Go to UserCP -
Under Options, go to the bottom - Miscellaneous Options - Choose the selection indicated in the screenshot below, and save your changes.
When replying to a thread, under advanced, you should see the options indicated below. Clicking on the icon in the circle will cause the "Explorer User Prompt" to appear. Put/paste the URL of the image you want to show in the thread into the box, and 'poof'...
Good Luck. -
Glad to see you were able to get it to work...mrsbojigger wrote:Rick,

Was just curious about your computer type - Have known a few graphic artists, they all had MACs, and loved them. Me? Nah... -
wow thats how you do it -
Dad gumit all !!! Thats' old Texas talk.
I finally am able to get a pic in the message and that's great. I love it! Now how did you get it (drag race scene) to be so large? I am not wanting anything this large but probably about a 1/3 larger than the tire pic I showed. If I try uploading anything larger it will not let me upload it and I have to go back and make my image smaller and smaller. Getting this old so I require larger pics sucks.
BTW, Rick the reason I went the way of the PC over the Mac was a decision I made about 20 years ago. I had just closed my 35 mm slide presentation business because of the high price of keeping my preprioratary graphic equipment up and running. The software was like $20,000 alone plus the expensive cameras and computer stuff. All together the system was about $120,000. Just to have a technician come from Houston was a flat $1200 up front for the trip and THEN the repair costs on top of that. I was only about 200 miles away. I vowed that I would never use a piece of preprioratary epuipment or software again. When I need a computer I have a generic one built from generic parts. Things are changing so rapidly now that most programs are interchangable and you can purchase a computer off the shelf with so much capabilities and power that it doesn't warrent having one built from scratch.www.themodernartist.com -
Understood. Apple/MAC priced themselves out the the market. I used gather the parts-n-pieces & build my own PCs, but in today's market - why bother?
BTW - On the picture above, it looks like FrankMn is 'pulling' the photo from another site, which would totally eliminate the size restriction - although from the file size I see, it could be put into the area that has been established on & by 'classiccar'.
Overall, to be able to post good quality pictures & graphics can only improve what I consider to be an outstanding forum... -
Thanks Rick! You have also helped me to get my user cp options corrected.
My home computer was a purchsed cpu, but my work cpu I custom built because I wanted some cool goodies they didn't put in off-the-shelf computers (at least a year ago! lol). A little overkill I'm sure, but I get upset if my computer isn't the fastest in the office!
I buy now from newegg.com and they have great prices. Bought my 19" flat monitor and no bad pixels! I recommend them highly.

Looks like it may work.
