Where do Decals go?
-
On a 1949 Hudson Commodore, where do the Patent Decal and the Specification Decal go? I think one of them go on the front of the engine compartment near or along side of the hood latch on the metal plate.
Also, does anyone know where on the oil bath air cleaner the decal goes? I think it is on the large oil bath housing on top, but does the decal face the front, or towards the driver side? -
I went to a car Museum today and looked at a 1950 Commodore - no decals under the hood. Woudl appreciate any assistance on where the Specification Decal and/or Patent Decal are placed.

Here is a photo of an original engine compartment. The yellow sticker is a replacement but it is in the correct place.
The patent decal (orange) goes on the passenger side cowl. I'll see if I can get a better location description.
