Engine & transmission swap
-
I'm swapping the splasher motor and 3 speed transmission in my '39 112 coupe with a 202 (Jet) motor and 3 speed w/OD. I would appreciate any info and insight from someone who has done this swap or something similar to it. I know the driveshaft will have to be shortened and the X-frame will need to have a hole cut in it for the OD governor. The OD trans is a double lever and the old trans is a single lever. Is the Jet shifter compatible with a 112 steering column? Do the motor and/or transmission mounts need to be relocated? The list of questions goes on and on....... The engine & trans are being rebuilt and will be ready in about 2 weeks. I would like to keep it as original looking as possible (retain the column shifter, etc.). Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks
