30's rear axle shafts vs stepdown axle shafts

Looks like axle ends (inner and outer) are the same 36-47. Axle length increased in '38. Parts book suggests the axles on the small sixes (3 x 4 1/8) might be an exception. Stepdowns through early '52 are same as 36-47 at the outer end, but the differential gear is different, so the inner end of the axle may differ . . . splines, diameter, etc.
