    HELP
I seem to have lost the cams for the front vent windows on my 49 super. The vents are the friction type. When I checked the parts book it looks like the are the same for 48 - 50 friction type - not winder type. Does anyone happen to have 4 they can spare?

    Thanks

These little things are holding up the completion of my car. Doesn't anyone have them? I'll buy a used set of vent frames to get them
    Thanks

By "Cams" do you mean the clamp that squeezes the lower pivot point of the window inside the door on cars with manualy operated windows ?

Yes they are for the manually operated vent windows, however they are not clamps. The post on the bottom of the vent window is serrated. These cams (2 on each window) slip up the shaft and are indexed by the serrations. They are held in with a tensioning spring and a nut.
    Thanks Roger

Thanks Roger... I can't believe someone doesn't have a junk set of wasp or super vent windows with these parts still attached that they don't need

I just parted out a 54 Hornet special. I think it should be the same as wasp. I will look in my box of stuff.

    Lew,

I've got a set of used doors from a 52 I think. Sell you all of it if itll work and you don't find them anywhere else.

Lew, if you have no joy from those who have responded so far, let me know as I am sure I may be able to help from some spare windows I have.
