I want to compliment all of you that restored Doc. Hudson. It has been setting in a garage since Nov. and tonight I uncovered it and hooked up the battery and It started right up in 20 degree weather. My cars would have had to be primed first because the gas would of drained totally out of the carbs. I did this because its going back home to Indiana in the near future. Good job fellows

For those of you that have not been following Doc, just an update. Doc is on it's way west to meet up with us at the National Meet in July. It has a series of visits prior to making it to California so check out the HETHS website to follow its progress and stop by and visit with Doc when it is in a town near you.....Brownie

The webpage you are referencing was a PITA for figure out and find, but here is the link: http://heths.resk.info/sidebar/projects.htm

FYI, Doc spent the winter in a closed shop garage next to a 65 Novia and a 57 Chevy 210 hardtop thanks to the generorsity of Edward Butler in Conrad,Iowa. The garage is in the town of Beaman, Iowa. pop. 210 on a good day. 1 bank, 1 post office (kinda), and the most inportant, 1 bar/cafe. Lots of retired farmers where the kids still play outside until bedtime. Remember 50-60 years ago? I will be going up there this afternoon and bringing it back to my place and Aaron, our HET President, from Des Moines will come up and get it to tonight. Ed wanted nothing in return.

I just went over, following Ken's link, to visit the Historical Society web site. While I realize I am not a member of the Society and thus cannot access much of the content, I do have this to say. THANK YOU AARON FOR THE GREAT HUDSON-ESSEX-TERRAPLANE CLUB WEB SITE YOU HAVE GIVEN US!!!!!!!!
