Can anyone tell me what year they began production on the star cheif convertable and what year they stopped production on the same vehicale?

I know they were making them in 57 as a friend of mines boss
has 1 with a matching number fuel injected motor sitting in a loft waiting for a restoration
Its completely rust free and just waiting to be repainted and put all back together
