    Can anyone tell me what year the packard whent out of buissness and what there last car produced was?

    The last car with the Packard name was 1957.However that was several years after they had merged with Studebaker

    I thought there was a 1958 Packard, or rather, "Packardbaker."

    1958 was the last year for Packard; ugly even for a Studebaker. THough many disparage the 55-57 Hudson "Hash" cars, they were much higher quality built cars than the sad remnant, in name only, of Packard.

    Sorry to say there was indeed a 58 Packard . Dont know where that came from,
