The truck is in Madras, Oregon (said he, helpfully). In case the Craigslist ad expires and one is left only with the phone number.

Does look pretty complete and the rust seems to be mostly surface. Bottom of the doors don't even seem that bad.

I personally would rather have the single side mount for easier engine compartment access.

Christopher is in the Jim Harmon class of Hudson collecting for this club! I've probably found a few more for him. He better buy a few more acres in Victoria though to park all the treasures! I would love a 37, so I'm thinking of making the 211 mile trip....

ditto Kdancy in re '39 BB PU I found & did a "frame off" of + '37 stuff easier to find than '39.

I appreciate all the help and advice Tim you have given me! Also I wish I could have met Jim Harmon, but sadly I am unable to. I presently following a lead on a 37' Pickup further east in the USA, waiting for the seller to get back to me at the moment. As for this 37' I would jump on it if the price would be negotiable. Since it is fixed and obove my comfort zone for paying for a truck requring a full frame-off restoration, I am willing to wait.
Also on the lookout for a two 49's Coupes (details on Hetclub.org forum). Must have orgional straight six and need restoration.

It looks like a Model 78 - 1937 Hudson Terraplane Big Boy Pickup. I have Bulters book open with pictures of both the SWB and LWB pickup models.

Do the rear fenders look correct as they roll under the box,I thought the top of the box used round pipe not square tubing?

Yes the rear fenders roll under the box and that is usually where they rust out!
The top corners of the box are "breaked" into a square shape. An end cap piece covers the end.
