American Vintage Hudson on Ebay
-
Hello all, have any of you dealt with American Vintage Hudson on eBay? Any negative experiences with them? Are they associated with the Hudson Club or a member of the club? I am investigating on the behalf of an overseas member who is having difficulties locating a package they sent, but according to postal tracking the package was returned to them from the sorting facility, probably for either improper packaging or for a lack of the proper customs declarations forms. They haven't seemed to be able to give him a straight answer as to where his parts are. When I enter the eBay item numbers for each of the three items he bought, eBay says the seller had relisted them.........so I am suspicious. any input is appreciated, Thank You. Kenneth

I too have dealt with them with no issues. And as a Ebay seller who sends quite a few things overseas I can tell you there is no tracking available. At least there was not till just recently with the rate increase some other changes are coming .One of wich is phasing in of tracking ability on overseas shipping.
In other words it is not surprising that the seller could not answer any questions about whereabouts of a parcel. He just could not know, and if something is wrong with paperwork and customs stops it ,you may never see it again,

Roger is correct. I tell anyone out of the country that shipping is at their risk.
The only thing you get is a copy of the custom sheet and a receipt that you paid and shipped.
You can't even buy insurance or tracking. So far , every thing has made it , sometimes
much faster than I thought. -
Thank, You, the fellow, Kevin seems on the level. He did contact me back and it seems the parcel came back to him. I am going to see if he can ship it to me, and I can take the three small parts with me to Europe.
