Neat Hudson sign, "back in the day"...
-
I discovered this photo on the internet. It was taken in Minneapolis in 1941.

Photo source is the City of Minneapolis, and was printed on the OurUptown website at ouruptown.com/2012/06/historic-photo-of-the-week-1941/ -
Great photo, noticed that the gas tank filler is on the passenger side but the hose looks long enough.
-
I just saw a few too.

-
Would love to see that sign at night with the neon...wow ..
First time to see one like this
Thanks to both of you for posting these.. -
Those are great pics, thanks for posting!
Wish I had been born sooner....... :P
Jeff -
Why not take those pictures and put them in the HET Club Gallery collection. Name of album would be Hudson signs and you can add as you find others.

Where do I find this "Hudson Gallery"?
-
So Hudson and Terraplane had AIR CONDITIONING in 1936? That is what the dealer window says. Please explain.
-
Think it could be the vent cowl,? (air conditioned by Mother Nature), or the swamp cooler mounted on the right window passenger side plugged into the cigarette lighter.
-
StillOutThere - Gallery is in the HET club web site - http://hetclub.org/ You have to log in to find the Gallery link at top right.

Thank you Alex. I will most definitely take the time to post a pile of pics to the gallery. :)
