Does anyone ever look at the cars for sale on this web site? I listed a Studebaker eons ago and have never been asked about it.

Is anyone aware of the low mileage '32 Essex Terraplane coach with reasonable price? Not mine.

Nice car , takes forever for the photos to load , maybe that's why it's still there.

I never look at the classifieds here, too cluttered. Looks like a nice car / price.

This looks like quite a nice car, once the inside is re-done.

Anyone know what these '32's are like to drive? Can anyone spot anything missing or non-original?

I admit it is tempting given the weak USD at present (I am in NZ).

The ad says it's an Essex Six but I believe, like Still, that it's an Essex-Terraplane.
terraplane8: I had an '32 E-T but never drove it but do know for '33 they widened the tread, assumedly for better handling.

I had a '32 Essex Terraplane coupe but it wasn't running and purchased a true '32 E-T roadster body for it. Sold the package to Pete Welzbacker who restored the coupe. Unfortunately Pete W can't tell us what that was like but I think he used it a lot. The narrow tread of these cars was a problem when one drove on the rutted dirt roads of the 1930s. Should be a spirited performer on today's pavement. I see nothing incorrect on the car except it looks like it got washed inside and out before photography!

Yes, it should go pretty well with the light weight. The door handles look small surely these aren't original? I'll see if I can find my Butler book to compare.
