THERMOSTAT QESTION AGAIN
-
IF A THERMOSTAT IS DEFECTIVE AND STUCK IN THE OPEN POSITION WILL THAT PREVENT
THE CAR FROM REACHING OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND THUS ALSO MAKE THE HEATER NOT OPERATE PROPERLY? -
Absolutely. Had one do that in my first Hornet, ages ago in mid-winter in central Ilinois. Thought I was gonna' freeze to death! Realizing I had another 150 miles to go, I pulled into a gas station and had a new one put in. Comfy cozy after that.
