California DMV Offering Rare Vintage (NEW) Plates

In case you haven't heard, California DMV is offering up the purchase of Classic license plates from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Apparently you can pre-order these classic colored plates for $50, either sequential, personalized or transferred from existing plates.
Check out their DMV website at www.dmv.ca.gov for more info.
They need to prepay register 7,500 plates before January 2015 before the runs will be stamped.
