I may have a line on a 1941 complete HUDSON PICK UP...

I haven't seen it yet and I was just curious what kind of value it may have.

Can anyone give me a rough range as to what might be fair value?

I hope to have lots more info within a few weeks so this is just getting some preliminary info on my part

    Tom,

Just a rough guestimates, If it turns out to be just a parts truck needing total restoration probably $500 - $1000. If the truck starts & runs needing minimum work $4000 - $7500; If pretty nice body in good running condition can vary $10,000 -$15,000; If its in mint condition $20 - $30,000+.....

Barns & Noble carry an Old Cars Price Guide that may give you a more accurate value.

As stated the value on them can vary widely . The fact that it is a Hudson truck would make it bottom dollar $500.00 ( no title , no drive train , no interior ,no floors, no trim ) . Just a truck with a useable frame and repairable fenders will sell for $500-$1500. If its more of a comlete unit in say # 3 or #4 condition in need of comlete going over but all there I agree with the $4000-$7000 or so range. However when talking restored trucks I think $ 20,000 is givaway price ,

    Tom,

I have a 41, it is really up to you to decide by a on the spot evaluation on what it is worth. Actually, I have 3 1941 vehicles, and I'm happy to help in any way I can. I think the big boys may be more rare. Have seen more 1/2T trucks like mine.
