47 Pick up

Does any1 know if a stepdown front end(control arms, springs etc..) will fit the front end of a 47 p/up ? I havent grabbed a tape measure yet to see if control arms are the same length or checked anything, but they appear to be very similar.
-
I have not done so but just recently someone on the forum here mentioned they had done so.
