Hudson's hit the surf scene
-
Does this bring back any memories for anyone. This was at the home where I picked up my 54 Hudson. Kinda reminded me of when I was in South Carolina in 1967 and they were filming a movie with Sharon Tate. Can anyone give me a year on the car under the lemon tree and make, year, ect. on the California Long Board?

Thanks, anyone want to take a guess on the longboard?Brownie
-
The longboard is a pretty standard shape from the mid 60's era. Bunger, Bing, Hanson, gregg noll, webber surfboards, G&S all had similar shapes just to name a few. Or it could be a backyard shape... any logos, names, or dimensions?
-
The fin makes me think it is early to mid 60's.
-
No such luck, However, since I have had G&S before I ground down the area just below the front of the fin to look for a SN (G&S did this) . I found a number and matched it with the G&S folks and it matches the number of an early production G&S board most likely from their third year of production. (early 60's.)Brownie

Awesome... that log is a real gem as there is huge market... clean her up and make her a wall hanger, heck... don't do that. Ride it!
