Looking for Power Steering Unit
-
Any chance someone out there would have a complete PS unit they'd be willing to sell? I'd sure like to upgrade my '51 club Coupe... I'd need everything... pump, dual pulley, steering box and/or other parts unique to power steering.
Phil.. Austin -
Steering box is same, but the pitman arm attached to it is different, so just swap out the pitman arm. Center steering arm is specific to the power steering setup. I have the pump, power cylinder w/ control valve, center steering arm, NOS hoses, but minus the crank double pulley, sold the double pulley to a friend who twisted my arm with $200.
-
I have a spare double pulley I would sell if you make a deal with Ken.
-
Ken,
Please email me with the price for the whole set up... phil at auldridge dot org -
Sorry Phil, I thought I had sent you the email yesterday, and I checked my drafts folder, , there it was, so I sent it just now.

Fred Naborhaus in Parrumph, Nevada has a '54 Hornet sedan parts car with the power steering components in tact. I can provide his phone # if you're interested. My pm box here apparently doesn't work, so you'll have to email me. Add aol.com to my handle and you have the addressArkie

Arkie-
Fred Naborhaus in Parrumph?? Is that a Dr. Seuss reference? Reminds me of an old professor: Aliwicious Cornelius Van Aarondonk III. -
When you say it, Parrumph sounds like a digestive upset .......
-
It's actually a real town in Nevada about 60 miles or so from Sin City.Arkie

Yes, Arkie, it's Pahrump, home of the infamous Mustang Ranch. Not sure if the Mustang Ranch is still open for business these days though, last I heard, the IRS was running it....Heehee.
-
A hint for the clueless, the Mustang Ranch is not a F**d automotive place of business......think along the lines of the "Chicken Ranch".........Remember Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds in the movie??.....and Marvin Zindler as in: "MAARVIN ZINDLER, EYE-witness news!"
