Links to Hudson websites requested!
-
Can you help us build a Hudson "links" page?
A few Hudson web folks are trying to assemble links (URL's, internet addresses) for websites or webpages dealing exclusively with Hudsons. These will eventually be posted on a webpage for the benefit of all.
Preliminary categories include:
1. Webpages posted by individuals showing their Hudson-related collections (cars, Hudsonite, dealer signs, etc.) or Hudson restorations.
2. Webpages of Hudson museums or large Hudson collections (Hostetler's, Old Spokes, Ypsilanti Heritage, etc.)
3. "Reference websites", either specializing in the history of Hudsons (or specific years, body types, models, etc.) or containing technical, restoration or maintenance information helpful to Hudsonites. An example would be Sarah Young's website devoted to Jets.
4. Technical or historic websites which -- though they may include other makes -- contain a large amount of information on Hudsons.
5. Websites of vendors of parts or services exclusively for Hudsons. K-Gap, Dale Cooper, etc.
6. On-line "groups" or other web communities or bulletin boards especially aimed at Hudsons (such as the Yahoo Super Six or Hudson Eight groups).
7. Websites of other Hudson-related clubs (not chapters of the HET) such as Svenska Hudsonklubben, the Hudson-AMC Car Club of Australia, the New Zealand Hudson Essex Terraplane Club and the Railton Owner's Club.
8. Additional categories! Suggest one, and give us a website link that belongs there.
NOTE: there's already a webpage with links to the home pages of various HET chapters. It's at http://hetclub.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=517 . Please go there and verify that we correctly link to your chapter's current website, and advise us immediately if there is a problem!
If you have link suggestions or questions please contact me, Jon Battle, at HETdetailed@verizon.net. Delete the HET before sending.

Jon, there is a chapter website that lists a number of member oriented websites. I had a bunch on my old freewebs web site. I'm working on gaining access to it - it's been so long since I went to it I can't remember my log in info. Hopefully, Freewebs will be able to recover my info. If they do I'll go thru those links to see which ones are still active and get back to you.

this is a really great idea. one site i use to check out and really kick myself for not printing off was the Ken Cates stepdown page with all the parts numbers and info. i thought it would be around forever and it's been gone for a couple of years. all those parts numbers in one location was very nice.

hoggyrubber - I saved that data, someplace..but onething to remember...when something is removed from the internet...it never really is...
