1947 Hudson Pick UP
-
Ok it's been about a year since we have been on. We have finally started our full frame off restoration on our 1947 Hudson Pick UP . We are to the point where to get in contact with some Hudson Pick Up experts. If any one can put us in touch with the right people we would appreciate it. If you would like to follow along with the progress please visit our website www.mikesultraservice.com and click on current projects. Thank You. Tim

Hi, Mike: there might be someone in your area with a pickup you could look at (or who might actually be an "expert" -- where are you?
You might also want to contact the fellow who keeps a registry of all the surviving pickups: Larry Cramer. He might be able to offer advice or put you in contact with someone who could. You can reach him at HETcramerlp@roadrunner.com -- delete the HET before sending. -
Tim, I drive a 47 Pickup I recovered from a 'bushel basket' almost daily. Did a Frame off on a 46 I'm repowering with a 39 Hudson eight I salvaged and rebuilt. Email me with your questions. Glad to help. Jon has my email correct or get it from WTN. I'm the truck registrar. BTW, send me your info and SN of the truck and I'll add you to the roster if you're not already there.
