i have been looking at pictures of 20's essexs in anticipation of starting mine. i saw this 28 on ebay today and thought "wow". not putting down anyones work but that ford frame sure makes the nose look super long and different. makes me glad i have the essex frame.

That's what we used to call a "cob job" back in the day (cob is short for cobble). Living proof that not all changes are for the better; some are just. . .changes. Some people should not be allowed near a car project. You are charitably "not putting down anyone's work". I'm not so charitable. LOL
And whats with the 2 compartment stainless steel kitchen sink in the trunk? Is this the "Camper Special" model? Jeez. . . -
i noticed that sink. ;) i know not everybodys ability is the same and we still all want to work on cars. saw living proof of that today after i welded in a patch panel on my 53 rocker panel. it's much betterthan it was rusted thru. not a pro job, i will be able to notice the welds. i just want to grind them down and not use body filler though. i'm sure a pro might be ashamed to see my patch. :(
insteresting car though on ebay. i enjoy rat rads too, but sometimes those long snouts and mismatched parts get to me. if you never see a picture of my 27 on here, you will all know it didn't turn out good enough for me to show it's face. >:) -
Agree, Mike! . . . . 100%
