Another question from Stepdown (Question 54' wiper motor)
-
I don't have much to offer here on this forum ...as this is my first Hudson that I've own...This time I'm asking another question ....The wiper motors were causing a vacuum leak which created issue with the motor...So I disconnected the line ....I haven't taken the motors apart yet but need some ideas how can rebuild them so they work and stop causing vacuum leak ...Thank you ...

Something that may help you is the Trico data sheet for 1954 - you can find it in the Online Library @ http://hetclub.org/burr/lithomepage.htm - look under 1948-1954 Bulletins.

They are repairable . You can find parts if you look or rebuilt ones. A lot of times they just need to be taken appart and cleaned and oiled. Also some guys have converted to 6volt electric ones
