Set of 5 Artillery Wheels for 36-39 Terraplane
-
Selling a set of Terraplane/Hudson artillery wheels for 36-39 cars on e-bay. Fairly decent condition. Check em out at http://www.ebay.com/itm/190730786582?item=190730786582&viewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:LCA:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr

Those were 1936 only, for from 1937 on they were 5 inch solid wheel rims. Walt.

Oops, Thanks for the clarification Walt.

I think you'll find that they are 16" rims. Most likely, you measured them from the outside of the lip (?). If you measured the width in the same manner, they're probably 4" Width (Standard width for 1936 Artillery wheels was 16"x4").
Typically, when measuring rims, you go from the inner location where the tire bead meets the narrowest portion of the rim both for the width of the rim, and for the diameter (a bit hard to do, but that's how the measurements are relayed).
You may want to check those rims, and update your auction - -
600X16 is the correct size for all Hudson Artillery wheels. Anyway, that is what my Hudson has on it.....Brownie
