It's a Chevy HEI distributor. The engine will be installed in a '47 Commodore coupe.

    Sure looks wild Butch!
Have an expected date when you'll have it on the road?
Coming to Laughlin this year (Elliot & I sharing a room again this year)?

Butch, what sort of super charger thing do you have going on? Also, take me though the front of the engine one component at a time so I can understand what you are doing? Looks really interesting.

Badaz, isn't doing it justice, do you have a secondary water pump on it feeding the frost plugs for extra cooling ?
love to see that blower all nicely polished or pro coated

    Wow Butch,

That is a real real mean sounding Hornet Motor..It kind of makes all the obsticals & hurdles that you ran into worth all the trouble......After installing into your Coupe you must take it down the Strip...

Glad to see your on the Forum and sorry missed your call...Thanks for sharing
