I am in desperate need of help. My truck will not start i have now changed the starter, the solenoid, the battery cables, and had the battery tested as well as trying to jump start from a new car. When i try to start it, it only seems to make the starter click (only once not continuous). the power is dropping drastically when i try to start it and i am getting incredibly frustrated!! does anyone have any other ideas that might help?

Sounds like the engine may be locked up ?

Remove the spark plugs, ground the coil wire and try the starter again. Sometimes a blown head gasket will allow the coolant to fill up a cylinder. This will eliminate a possible problem or find it, if the engine turns over.
