Dick Goerges' '47 Pick-Up for sale on eBay
-
Please check this out. Like the "7-X" clone (well, that's what we're calling it) it can be delivered to the 2013 National in San Mateo... cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-Hudson-3-4-Ton-Pick-Up-Standard-1947-Hudson-3-4-Ton-Pick-Up-/190725177854?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2c681b41fe Thanks, Bob

neat truck. i like that logo on the door. hope it sells well for the family.
-
Must have sold overnight. I have a friend looking for one and he was checking into it and it disapeared from ebay.Brownie
-
It is still there, but has been withdrawn, no longer available for sale. I didn't think it would be on eBay too long, or have any trouble selling. Looks like a nice project - and most likely all the 'fitment' issues with the 308, trans, etc., had already been worked-out...
-
We took it down, per eBay's policy, because we found that there is no title. It's still for sale. Call Ed Drexler at 415-672-2084 to make an offer.

Hi Bob,
Good to know, however no title will be a significant issue for quite a few folks. I've worked through those types of issues on a couple of my vehicles - and it is 'no picnic' by any stretch of the imagination. This will severely limit those that can do anything other than 'part out' the truck - and I think it deserves better than that.
Too far away for me, and I already have too many 'irons in the fire' - however I hope it all works out - -
in lieu of it's location & has no title wonder if this was once part of Carl Mendoza's horde?
-
I don't know if this was one of Carl's cars or not; not sure where Dick picked it up. Maybe Carl
did the 308 install, who knows. It was, per the graphics, a shop truck for an "OK Tires/Auto Float" dealership, and I think they shut down sometime in the '60's (??). After the All-California Meet we will start the process of getting it properly titled. Until then, if anybody wants to make an offer, give Ed Drexler or me a call. Thanks, Bob
