1952 Hornet coupe
-
I should have been more specific, my '52 Hornet is completely restored and runs great, however couple of problems have to be attended to; had 3x one piece tubing drive shaft made wiith proper tube yoke, u-joint and slip yoke, but experiencing noise from under car. Before installing or during restoration, drive tunnel was modified/enlarged welded allowing for 3 inch drive shaft tubing, but still hitting? Tried to see if drive shaft shop would make new shaft using 2 1/2 inch tubing, however he felt it would be too weak; see pictures.
My question is, would anyone have pictures of a original drive shaft/line installed in a Hudson? If no pictures correct lenght of the stock drive shaft/line; lenghts of both 2 pieces if possible. Can email direct to kada9528@cox.net
Thanks,
Ray
