Mystery Auto Glass Challenge

I found a piece of mystery glass in my wife's attic yesterday, and I need some help identifying it. The local classic car shop estimated it to be off a car between 1955 and 1965, but he was stumped. I'd appreciate any ideas! Pictures below.
